It is now possible to apply for your British Passport and British Citizenship at the same time if you use the online citizenship application process. This easy and efficient service has been developed in partnership with the Home Office. Applications are made using the standard British Passport application form.
How many hours can student visa work?
If you are on a student visa, you are usually limited to working up to 40 hours per fortnight during semester and unlimited hours during university holidays. A fortnight is calculated as a 14-day period starting on a Monday. You won’t be able to work until after your course has started.
Can I work full time on Tier 4 visa?
If you hold a Tier 4 visa and your course is degree level, you will normally be allowed to work for up to 20 hours per week during term time and up to full-time during vacations. You may be able to work full-time once you have completed your course and have a short period left on your visa.

Please note, from June 2020 until the end of the year, Tier 4 temporary travel visas will be issued for a period of 90 days rather than 30.

Yes, once you have applied for British Citizenship, you can travel outside the UK while your application is pending. You can then use your original passport to travel overseas.
